Our salon is set within the historic Poplar House, originally built in the 1700s and later extended in 1878 by a family known as “The Poplars.” The surrounding farmland was lined with tall poplar trees—an iconic feature that inspired the name still used today.
In 1981, the ground floor was transformed into a beauty salon by a local resident. Over the years it has been refurbished and modernised, yet many of its charming original features remain, blending heritage with a fresh, contemporary feel.
